Need help with swap magic 3.6 plus

Hiya, today I just got the PAL version swap magic 3.6 plus for my slim ps2 and have tried to play kingdom hearts 2 FM that I imported from Japan but it just is not working.

I've tried to fit the 3 components inside my ps2 as the guides say but the disc won't automatically spin unless i sit and physically hold components 1 and 3 in by hand.

When I finally get to the magic swap interface though if I don't hold in the components I get an error saying ''Insert bigger TOC disc' and can do nothing further, and if I do put in kingdom hearts it starts spinning for a few seconds when I press X and then it just stops and it says something like ''please use a valid ps2 format' and i'm just clueless what to do.

I'd be really really grateful if somebody could help me out with this problem as I can't find answers anywhere...

What Version Slim PS2 do you have?
Which tools did you buy, are they Swap tools V3 or V4
They come with tape on them, once they are in place you remove the tape so they stay put. Otherwise you could use double-sided tape.

It will say "bigger TOC disc" because your tools are not properly placed and it thinks you hit the EJECT button, or removed "TOOL A" by the reset button.
