WinHiip Freezing

I added a hard drive to my ps2, A Maxtor N256 and it works perfect, im actually installing a game onto it now through HDadvance. But I thought that installing a game through the Ps2 would defeat the purpose of conserving the laser which was my intention. So I sought out the help of Winhiip and when I try to install a game on it from the DVD drive, it freezes on 0.5%, I have it connected through a USB enclosure, but Winhiip was working fine at installing a game on a Western Digital that I later found out wasnt compatible but it installed the game correctly, I just couldnt run it because HDadvance would recognize the HDD. Ideas please?

It is better to first use Imgburn to create a backup ISO image of your PS2 game, then use Winhiip to copy the Image to your hdd.

It could just be its not reading your drive very well.

Western Digital are good hdd, but you need to modify the Network adaptor to work with them.
