Question Need help booting DVD with SwapMagic

Okay, I have a PS2 Slim and SwapMagic 3.6 plus. I have the CD and DVD but the DVD is scratched to bits! (my brothers old PS2) So the DVD wont boot up to let me boot backups, but the CD does boot. Is there any way I can burn a DVD boot disc to a CD-R to allow me to play my games that are backed up on DVD? Thanks in advance!
When my RE teacher first told me that hacking, modding and copying was wrong i told him to **** off. A little voice inside of me told me that he was right...I told that voice to **** off aswell.

Yes you can download SM 3.8 DVD and boot DVD that way

Once SM 3.8 is loaded
Press EJECT on PS2
Insert High TOC Original PS2 disk
Then by your Swap Method you insert the backup
Press X for "NORMAL"
SELECT your region and PRESS X to play backup

Thanks for the reply.

When I tried to boot the SM3.8 it said 'Not a valid PS2 disc' which is bugging me. Any ideas?

Thanks

It could be a dirty laser and needs cleaning.

Or it is the disc you burned on, or the method you burned with.

Hmm, which would be the best burning method?

I doubt the laser is dirty, the PS2 booted a small game that I backed up on a CD and booted with the SM 3.6 CD launcher, and I used the same disc for that as I did on the SM 3.8 I downloaded.
