Gradius V CD to DVD, Black screen
Following the guide which uses IsoBuster, DVDScan 3.7, and Nero Burning ROM to convert CD to DVD, I've managed to get a DVD backup version of Contra: Shattered Soldier to run perfectly after using Swap Magic.
Gradius V, however, is a different matter. I did the same exact procedures to convert it into a DVD backup. However, when I place the disc in my PS2 slim and hit "load program," it gives me a black screen. The disc is still spinning, and occasionally, the laser moves a little.
Is there anything I should check to resolve this problem?

Is the Gradius V an NTSC version or a Multi Version.

It's PAL. I used Nero Burning ROM, DVD ISO/UDF option, no multi-session, and burned at 16x

My PS2 is NTSC, but that shouldn't be a problem, since I've played many PAL/JAP games on it before, since I'm using Swap Magic.

I know its reported as working converted to DVD.
I can only suggest then to try burning it at a lower speed and see if that makes a difference.
What brand of disc did you use. Sony, verbatim DVD-R ?
