Did you try using mode 3 or any modes?
Check the compatibility list to see what works

Once your game is selected in Hdloader
Press "SELECT" on your controller to enable modes
Once done selecting mode, Press "SELECT" again to save the changes.

Here is another compatibility site

I just use hdloader 8c elf, so I am not too sure about hdloader disk.
I have heard the newer version you have is supposed to be better and more compatible.

I guess if loading the ISO from the PC works , then that may be the way you have to do it.

I wonder is there different settings when your transfer your games through hdloader 3.8c

ok, i figured it out, i was using a newer version of hdlserve (0.8.6) on my comp and an older version on my ps2 (0.8.3) when i switched to the older version on PC, its transfers at a slower rate but the 2 imports i was having troubel with before are now working perfectly
