For anyone intersested in XMugen
Since this is built off of linux and uses no microsoft code I hope this doesn't violate any rules. I wanted to help out anyone wanting to use xmugen so I am posting these seyups to get anyone interested started.

SPECIAL NOTE: To anyone who downloaded any of the first 5 Xmugen files please delete those and download the new 11. Sorry for any confusion, my computer split the files wrong and I decided to fix a couple of things that could cause any problems. These new 11 files should be free of anything that could cause crashes.
This is for xmugen users (mugen on xbox). A lot of people have had a lot of problems getting screen packs, characters, stages, etc. to work so this is for them. Everything is already configured all you will have to do is install them on the proper drives.
In my folder there are 11 Xmugen files, you will need to download all 11 to extract. Once you have all 11 and extracted them and then FTP the Xmugen folder to F\Games and you are done.
In the Xmugen folder are
Brokenmugen (Full Game with chars,stages,sounds)
DC vs. Marvel screen pack
DC vs. Marvel screen pack (more slots)
Heroes vs. Villains screen pack
Mortal Kombat Anthology modified screen pack (with mkp 4.4 extras)
Lots of Stages and sounds
This is optional but if you like Mortal Kombat Anthology and Mortal Kombat Project 4.4 you can download all 3 parts of MKA4.4 for characters converted for the Mortal Kombat Anthology modified screenpack. Put all characters in the chars folder and not the broken folder that is for the broken mugen full game. In MKP 4.4 the characters could do the Fujin Friendship, Sokram Lives Fatality, Blaze Mode, Summon Blaze, etc. Well I put all those extras in the MKA screen pack, and converted all the characters from MKA to do the extras.
If you already have those characters and don’t want to download them you can do it yourself. You can copy the extra codes from the top of 4.4’s common1.cns file and paste at the top of MKA’s common1.cns file. Then you can use 4.4’s fighfx.air and fight.sff and put them in MKA.
Then all you have to do is edit each character just like you did for 4.4. BUT I highly suggest you download mine because they are already edited and it might save you a lot of time.
For my AMOC setup download all 4 parts and put this Xmugen folder in F\Emulators . You can have both of these Xmugen setups on your xbox at the same time if you want since this is on F\Emulators and the other is on F\Games. I personally use both at the same time.

MKP 4.3 screenpack

Mugen Fighting Jam screenpack
MVC2 screen pack
SF3 screenpack
SF vs. MK screen pack (slightly modified)
SFZ3 screenpack
Slim EVE screenpack
Xmen COTA screen pack
DO NOT Forget to download the updated Config file. Open the Xmugen folder that came in AMOC and replace it with this new one.
Lots of sounds
I also uploaded the latest Xmugen Renamer for lower casing everything and Stage Viewer to check out stages before you put them on.

I appreciate your help, I've been searching over the internet and I couldn't seem to find any type of guide to play Mortal Kombat Project on Xbox.

Hey there, quite interested, but cant get the files.
When i click on AMOC.part4.rar i get a "no more free space on this server" message.
Any other method of sharing would be appreciated.

Cheers for these i downloaded all 11 xmugen files but Mortal Kombat Anthology doesn't work i cant do anything on the character select screen well i can press back and exit that's it.
any help would be much appreciated.
also i cant play the damn thing when i have my component connected it will work with RGB scart but not my HD kit.

The first 11 files was for the Brokenmugen full game,(characters,stages,etc.) The rest are just screenpacks where you can add your own characters. However with Mortal Kombat Anthology I split into an additional 3 files called MKA4.4 and I added gameplay from Mortal Kombat Project 4.4. I did this because the xmugen setup was already so large that I gave people the option to download the extra 3 MKA4.4 files if they wanted 2 full games instead of one. Your problem sounds like the characters aren't on the setup, if you already downloaded the 3 MKA4.4 files just put all the characters in the XMugen/chars folder. DO NOT PUT in the Xmugen/chars/broken folder this is for the Brokenmugen full game.

That will be why lol i though it was all in one cheers downloading them now though need to bloody wait like an hour in-between lol files.

I thought that was what it was, REMEMBER one more thing when you do get the files just put the character folders in XMugen/chars. So that all that is in the folder are the MKA chars and the broken folder.
Example:
baraka - char
cage - char
broken -Brokenmugen folder for chars
I wanted to make this clear incase you haven't dealt with mugen before. So once you download MKA4.4 and you unzip it and the characters are all in a folder YOU DON'T PUT that folder in the chars folder. JUST the characters.

Yeah got it all working thanks though Xmugen will still not run if i have my HD kit plugged in it only seems to work with RGB or composite.

Glad you got it working, I wish I could help with the other problem. I have my xbox hooked up to an HDTV but I use the standard cables so I am not sure of the problem. I can say that xmugen is just a linux distro stripped down. It is based of Linmugen but isn't exactly a straight port, I don't know if that helps but it could be a linux thing.

Please forgive me I am totally new to MUGEN. I downloaded all the AMOC files and it opened perfect. I placed the files in the Emulators folder. I changed the config file to the UpdateAMOCconfig file. I downloaded a few characters and put them the "chars" folder. The MUGEN boots up and I get the Ryu video but where do I go from here? I can't seem to start anything... The video is cool though...

Alright, the AMOC setup comes with no characters and I don't think there stages in that one either. This one is just the screenpacks, so you will have to add every character manually. Go to the Xmugen/data folder on your PC then choose which screenpack you would like to add (for example MSH = Marvel Super Heroes) open up the select.def and add your character to the select.def
NOTE: Download the Xmugen Renamer first before you add characters, since this is based of Linmugen and is case sensitive everything needs to be lowercase, and run the xmugen renamer on them.
For example if you downloaded Ryu xmugen will look for the characters def file. So say the folder name is ryu and the def file is ryu.def
You will put the character in like any of these examples.
ryu, order = 2
ryu/ryu.def, order = 3
Or if you want to make a folder specifically Marvel Super Hereos
Make a folder called msh put it in the Xmugen/chars folder, so it looks like this Xmugen/chars/msh
then put all characters for the game in the msh folder.
Then edit the select.def like this
msh/ryu/ryu.def, order = 2
NOTE: To be able to continue in Xmugen every character needs to be assigned a stage. To add stages you download run the xmugen renamer on them then add the stage like this.
msh/ryu/ryu.def, stages/example.def, order = 2
Then put both the example.def and example.sff file in the stages folder. If it comes with sounds (example.mp3) then put the mp3 in the sounds folder.
The order = 2 just means when you fight this character. You can give him any number you want from 1 to 10. You fight anyone with 1 first and of course 10 last.
At the bottom of the select.def you will see this
1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
These represent how many times you will fight a person with the order = numbers.
So this
2,3,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
Means you will fight two people who have order = 1, you will fight three people with order = 2, and so on.

Problem with XMugen.part06.rar Only 54MB?
This will be a great edition to the Xbox. However, I have downloaded part06 twice now and I have only received 54.2mb each time. Does anyone have RS mirrors or can this be corrected please?
(EDIT) Trying a 3rd time. The DL does say xx.x of 267. ...3rd time's a charm?

help
Hi guys.
I have download and unzipped the 11 files.
I haVE put it in the games folder.
When I try to load it I chose broekn mugen then
it goes about doing its thing. However at the end I get
an error (kernel panic: attempt to kill init!
I cant get the game to load. Am I doing something wrong??
Can anybody please help me??
