Video reveal of 'Midway's biggest fighting franchise' tomorrow

A special video is to be released tomorrow at about 10am PST (6pm GMT) of a "a big fighting game franchise from Midway." A picture of Mortal Kombat character Kintaro was also provided as a clue.

never liked the MK series,sucked to me. if i had to pick the best in that franchise it would be MK2.but i could care less about this series.

A new Pit Fighter would rock infinitely more than another MK game.

ok my first reaction is: i'm through getting excited over MK series, the last one was a definitive collection of sorts that still failed to deliver in some areas: creat a fatality anyone?

then i think, on the next gen consoles things might be different for a few reasons.

1. MoaR Power: The ps3 and xbox360 have to provide a larger playing ground for the developers and a larger degree of realism and freedom

2. they basically wiped everyone out in armageddon and theoretically could have a new slate

well here's hoping they revamp the series, otherwise i think i'll pass (and i've bought every major MK release since 1)

(and yes, i'm advocating the removal of all past characters, scorpion/sub zero, included from the story line for at least 2 games - but maby include enough variety in a creat a character to remake any or all of them that you choose)

Hopefully they dont kill it, tekken 6 lkooks similar to tekken 5?, i was hoping they would of spruced up the graphics abit more :-(

Didin't they say that they were gonna scrap all the old characters and make new ones with a new storyline etc

That game came out in 2002, it's called Deadly Alliance. This would be Mortal Kombat 8.
