New Wii Update 3.2, what does it do?

Does it patch the TP hack? I'm tempted to download this one just to get rid of my double channels.

I updated my system and it almost seems like the update helped read my backups better. I must be dreaming. LOL

I have an NTSC-U Wii, Wiikey 1.9g, Ive tried SSBB, SMG & a few games online. It just seems like my drive isnt chugging like it was. Ill keep testing it and test my blood just in case there are no illegal substances in my system.

Well, I think wiikey is supposed to be undetectable also. I have a d2ckey installed and had no problem with updating online.

What about the TP hack? Has anyone tried it with the new firmware? I don't want to plug up this awesomely hackable hole.

Actually, a system format does get rid of double channels. (At least the ones I first got when upgrading to 3.1) Now mind you, not the one that resets your wii shop and all, just the minor one. Just back up your saves first, and you should be fine. any VC games can be re DLed later. (You may want to get your saves for those as well)

I wonder if this answers my own question:

After the update the Wii menu shows a gamecube disc as 4:3 instead of 16:9. Its fine in the Disc Channel, just in the menu its strange.

Anybody else got this? Iv got PAL with Wiikey

Also, now the disc update method has change will the 15% trick work?

I wonder what these "behind the scenes updates" really do. I will probably hold off on the update until more info comes out about the 3.2 update, especially since I haven't had any problems with 3.1.

You'll need to update eventually. Why not just put off the inevitable, if you want to play the new games you'll need to perform the system update.
