Question

Is this for T-Mobile (USA), (or IIRC VoiceStream Wireless) Users, or is this for all of us who just still happen to live in the Fatherland?!?!

Your Piece doesn't really make that clear.

On my DS I have this all the time, since the release. So what's so special about free 6 months?

I think that feature has been around for a while just most of us don't care.

Actually... I was wondering if anyone did any reading on if its possible to use that access with a laptop instead because surfing on a DS or PSP just sucks! I assume if anything we would need to fake the MAC and browser ID

Don't mind my weird username, I was uncreative at that time.

so you could always hook up to a t-moblie hotspot without paying? please read the article carefully. psp has wi-fi also but you need a connection that lets you connect.

uuuuuuh yes I could. Nintendo has contracts with hotspot providers in most european countrys. In Germany it's t-com (t-mobile, t-online, etc. belong to it).
Please get your facts straight before you flame next time, yes?

well then I guess the problem is that I have a Japanese metallic blue psp and even with ye ole' region change... I don't get T-Mobile hot spot as an option for wireless hot spots . I recently updated my other american psp to 3.71m33-2 and checked out the wireless hot spot madness, and indeed the t-mobile choice comes up oh well, I can live without the intern3tz if it means having a blue psp ^_^
