UltraLast e-Boost 3.7v 2200mAh Doesn't Work

I purchased an UltraLast e-Boost 3.7v 2200mAh Li-PO battery from Fry's electronics for $20US. It get a message that says "Error at address 0x26" when trying to create the jigkick battery. I chose not to try and make it a jigkick. My original SONY battery doesn't give the error. I'm on original 1.5 firmware. The packaging has a link to http://www.ultralastbatteries.com.

Worked flawlessly for me as well. Bought this cheapass Datel battery for 9.95 euro at the intertoys (NL), and works perfect! Already needed it since with this new toy it's so much more tempting to start (wreckless) modification of the PSP.

This is the battery I used (and works): Datel Max Power

Turning Batteries that give an Error 0x26 or 0x27 into jigkicks

I have a battery that gives an error 0x26 before the credits. Are you saying that ALL the information from the EEPROM is not backed up before the jigkick is created? Couldn't it become a problem down the road if you didn't back up all of the values from all the addresses?

I may be totally off base here, but that is how I understood the program to work.

Update:

BTW, I decided to go ahead and try converting the battery into a jigkick. It said that it sucessfully wrote 0xFFFFFFFF, but when the PSP rebooted and I ran it again, it now complained that it couldn't read address 0x27 (instead of 0x26), and the serial number was still my old number. I tried one more time, and it said it successfully wrote 0xFFFFFFF, but once again, when it rebooted and I went in again, the old number was still there and it went back to complaining that it couldn't from 0x26.

Thatīs exactly what happens with my 3.6v 3600 mAh Battery Pack (Silver letters) (Model PSP-360)

Bought off eBay.

Not working as Pandoraīs Battery. Itīs actually a fake and it does not hold any more charge at all compared to the original SONY 1800mAh battery. As a matter of fact itīs even worse, since it tends to die at just under 10% of charge.

It looks like this:

I have got a question for this Datel PSP Go Max battery... Would it charge the AAA batteries (providing these are rechargeable) if you plug the charger into the PSP? I guess that it wonīt, but if it does I will consider buying it! Please anybody answer this

A bit offtopic:
Could someone with a fake battery (one that was reported as "not working") try the following: http://lan.st/showpost.php?p=8523&postcount=24

You do everything at your own risk!

- Sony "standard" Li-ion 1800 mAh
You mean PSP-110?

- Sony PSP-280 2200mAh
Okay so the high capacity does work then?

- Datel, PSP Battery GO MAX (Model # GM1000, uses AAA batteries) note: If u remove the batteries, it resets the serial back to all 0's
You mean I even can make my Go Max a jig? I have a GM I even made An article on Go Max on my Wiki!!

Anyways, its kinda cool, I can make my GM normal again by simply taking out the AAA? SWEET!!

Also, can I have other files on my Magic MS? I am thinkking of having a 3.40 OE installer on there ready to go. Also I want to have ms0:/eeprom.bin of my battery, so can I use the same MS to make it a jig and to unjig?

Also, Can I use Pandora to downgrade a TA-082? Will the Pandora process patch them?

Is there a way to make Pandora battery to install 2.71 instead, from where I can use the HEND TA-082 downgrader to patch?

When I made a jig outta Go Max it says I can use O to restore a backup and [] (Square?) to restore, so do I just get a 2.71 dump?

Why not use the Datel, PSP Battery 1800 Max Power TOOL version, it's the same price and doesn't need to be converted first.

Just tried it with an "Intec 1800mAh Li-ion" and I get an error and will not work (used the Sony one that came with PSP and it worked.)
