Newer version in first post
No i advice to keep this separated.
As for optimizations, disable palette writes in debug menu and leave frameskip to auto.
Seems that yoshi island works almost perfectly now

Ok, so if I use this emulator as a standalone, is there anyway to apply speedhacks using snesadvance.dat? Also, by disabling pallette writes, I'm assuming you mean I should set the Ignore pallette writes option to on. But what exactly does this option do?

too confusing for me, i dont know which emulator to use now.
the games i want to clear are mystical ninja and the donkey kongs. which emulators are the latest so i can test them out to see which ones work better for me?
i believe, the one i got was some R8 or something like that.. (last year or earlier this year there was a series of updates by a group, im not sure exactly which version of snes that was. i have the latest of those (from that time).
and i believe now there is the one in this thread, as well as euphoria r2.1
are those two the latest?
EDIT: btw, up-to-date version of the emulator in the first post.

PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 till Xmas 2006 now 4.01 M33 -> 5.00 M33-6(1.50 addon)
It a good idea to have " Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)
READ THE README.TXT

Yes, but there's no link for the latest (091117) version on that site.

i dunno where ryupower got it from. but i do know that he is up to date with the snes stuff, lol. or anything that relates to street fighter in anyway
i too would like to know where it was from, however, i feel it is probably from a competitive website of maxconsole.
EDIT:
looking at the readme, the version i used before was:
2008/05/27 test5
there has been about 11 updates since then.
using this new one, apparently i cant load a big ROMS folder anymore?
EDIT AGAIN (preventing double post):
okaY!!
donkey kong country, zero frame skip, gave me about 31 to 35 fps on first stage with test5 (from 2008)
donkey kong country, zero frame skip, game me about 45 fps on first stage with latest version. definitely an improvement. going to keep the new one. just wish the amount of files in the Rom folder wasn't broken but its not a big sacrifice.
