IDstorage keys are included in a NAND dump. The main reason you should never restore your NAND to anyone else's psp.....brick! If you restore the IDstorage under the DC menu, flashing a previous NAND dump would defeat the purpose. Also restoring a NAND dump is dangerous and I only do it if the NAND dump was made right before I just flashed something...which I've never had to restore a NAND backup so I delete them. If for some reason your physical NAND has developed any more bad blocks after your prior NAND dump it can't recreate certain sectors of information which in turn causes the psp to go a little wack.
NAND dumps are almost obsolete since DC8 can easily restore your IDstorage.
I'd restore the IDstorage and try to install OFW from the pandora menu

OK, now I have another issue. I'm trying to make a DC8 stick so I can do the things that were suggested to me. But no matter what I try, I cannot get the PSP to boot with that stick. I noticed that when I replace the TimeMachine IPL on the stick with another version, it boots, but not into DC of course.
Any idea why the TimeMachine IPL would fail on this PSP?
Any idea what I can do to work around that?
Standard Pandora IPL works fine, heck anything other than TimeMachine IPL works...
Thanks for any hints!

Your PSP has some mad issues bro.
Did you try injecting the time machine IPL with Rain'sUltraliteMMS?
It has an option to inject the time machine IPL only.
I would try to delete the IPL on the card first with PSPtool but that's only if you already have custom firmware.

I'm glad the PSP is not mine My trusty PSP Phat still works like a charm. But I never was able to boot DC8 sticks on this PSP Slim, just a stick I made using Phrotac's guide (and it only had DC7 on it). I'll try that IPL you mentioned and that Slim does currently run 4.01 M33.
I'm about done with that POS anyway, wasted enough time with it. I'll just file this under X, as in X-Files...
