Modern Warfare 2 features no install but just an update

Folks who have already managed to get their hands on Modern Warfare 2 have confirmed that the title does not require an install. However upon receiving the game, you will be prompted to download a 15MB update for it.

This is either to catch pirates or is the first minus day patch I have heard to date, I wouldnt be surprised if DLC for the game is up already.

sorry, forgot to look at the section, these days its usually the 360 games which are released/leaked early (or at least published).

Yeah, I had to update my firmware to 3.01 when I loaded up MW2 and then after it installed that, it had to download the 15mb patch (1.01 I believe). Game is crazy fun though, played online for like 3 hours last night haha.
