problem in Slim PSP need your help pls.

Hi
I'm running 5.0mm3-6 in my 2001 PSP,
Motherboard model: TA-085
PSP version: Slim V1.0
4G memory.
It was working fine for 2-3 months, but now, majority of the games stop working (from memory or even from UMD). They come to the loading point, then PSP goes off.
I tried formatting the memory, taking battery out,... nothing helps.
I thougt, I could flash the psp with a new firmware, but when trying to update or recover using Hellcat's Recovery, I'm getting this error:

PHP Code:
Unassigning flashs....
flash2wasn't assigned - that's OK
flash3
wasn't assigned - that's OK
Extracting special updater
.PRX....

ERROR OPENING 500.PBP! (0x80010002)
Loading updater modules
Error 80010002 loading
/starting nand_updater.prx
Error 80010002 loading
/starting lfatfs_updater.prx
Error 80010002 loading
/starting lflash_fatfmt_updater.prx

------------------------------------------------------------
There have been critical errors!
ABORTING!! No harm has been donePress any button....
I tried different firmwares, 5.0, 5.5, and renaiming the PBP files many times, with no luck.

I need your help pls.

thanks

If you want play the lastest games you must use a tool called "yoshihiro games decrypter v4".

You can download it from here:
http://forums.maxconsole.net/attachm...7&d=1255011188

You need also software called UMDGEN 4.00, download fomr this link.
http://umdgen.ps3news.com/UMDGen_v4.00.rar

Here a little guide.

Quote:
1 :lets go first you need to install the GameZDecryptZ folder in your X:/PSP/GAME
2 : Open you iso with UMDGEN 4
3 : Go to File>File List>Export
4 : Save it as Filelist.txt
5 : Extract the EBOOT.BIN with UMDGEN4 in PSP_GAME/SYSDIR
6 : put your EBOOT.BIN extracted from UMDGEN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR and put it on root of your memory stick
7 : now you can boot game decrypter now you can press X 5 seconds later it's done
8 : connect your usb cable check on root of your memory stick you have a new folder called decryptor
9 : copy the eboot.bin from the decryptor folder inside umdgen
10 : Go to File>File List>Import
11 : Choose Filelist.txt
12 : Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save
13 : REbuild your ISO.

thanks for your reply, however, my main concern is why those games which were working fine, now, they are not working, also, why the upgrade process, I tried, did not finish well. End up, with the above errors all the time!!!!

Only thing to do is to use pandora. Clean out, and install new custom firmware.

An update:

I used RainsUltraLiteMMS500v12 and created magic memory, tried the pandora, but during the installation, psp stop at 15% and will not complete,

I tried the option of Nand dump and gave me somthing like 17 bad sectors.

Is there any solution for my PSP?

I hope I can fix it, it seems to me not a complete brick as I can use the pandora battery and load the m33 without any problem, using the "test m33" in the RainsUltraLiteMMS. I also save the nand dump to my pc. looking for your advise.

Try this:
Download Nandtool v2 here:
http://dl.qj.net/nandTool-0.4NEO/pg/...2558/catid/151
Run on your psp.
Select 5th option down is "other tools"
Select "Bad Block Check"
How many Bad blocks does it say you have?

My PSP so sharp I use it when I run out of ninja stars
SILVER PSP 3000 w/ 2000 MOBO swap
CFW:M33-6

Please reply before trying next step but you can run Nandtool v2
Select 4th option "Partition tools"
Then select "integrity check"
It will run integrity check
If it says anything besides "Partition Records Seem OK" then select "Repartition Flash" also under "Partition Tools"
The program is capable of creating a new working partition around bad blocks unless you have an insane amount of bad blocks which would mean your NAND in irreparable.

!!!MY APOLOGIES TO ALL FOR THE DOUBLE POST!!!

the one downloaded from your link is nandTool_0.4_Final_NEO, I run it Selected "Bad Block Check" and found 4 bad blocks as stated below:
page 544 block 17
page 5984 block 187
page 55616 block 1738
page 105248 block 3289

running the integrity check"
said "Partition Records Seem OK"
I run the Repartition Flash option, then try to install the firmware, but still it gives me the same error reaching 15% during flashing files and stopping with error reading PBP
