Gears of War 2 confirmed?

It seems inevitable that Gears of War 2 is coming, but now Gamepro magazine claims to have some kind of exclusive and proof that it is indeed. As you will see from the magazine cover they have a 'special Xbox 360 report' which supposedly covers Gears of War 2.

Rumours, rumours and even more rumours: this is one that just won't go away however. Yes, Gears of War 2 speculation has reared it's ugly head again and this time it's because Gamepro magazine claims to have an exclusive (don't they all)?, and proudly emboss the Gears of War 2 logo on their front cover.

Whether or not this is all hokum remains to bee seen. I'm scans will be up all over the net once it comes out on the 12th February. However, while you wait, here's the screenshot.

I didn't find it that good. But I'll probably get it for PC again as you can correct the vertical synchronization there and Live is free ;)

You're crazy, multiplayer is freakin amazingly fun. Not to mention that its not a downplayed version of the campaign. FULL FUNCTIONALITY!

Eh no. Gears of war is WAY better! Halo 3 was just better marketed, and its was the first hit title for Xbox, nothing else (not that Im sayin Halo 3 is fun)

Gears must have been far too challenging for you not to realize its greatness.
Also windows live isn't free, its only free if your gamertag on the 360 is already on gold membership.

Listen, I have just taken delivery of a QX9650 and I am wating on a Radeon HD 3870X2 being delivered any day (My late Xmas present to myself) but that still doesnt stop me from ENJOYING 360 games. The 360 offers this and this vertical synchronisation crap that you are coming out with is a RUSE. Its just because you don't even know what vertical synchronization means in first place, its not a big deal, I know, but those problems are there and for some reason it seems the xbox graphics card can't handle them properly. Let me tell you two titles, Gears of War and Mass Effect for example. I bet you have them. Well these have that problem too. So first inform yourself of what vertical synchronization means and then try those games again.

Understanding "tearing" and "v-sync" has nothing to do with owning any particular console. Also, the amount of tearing is often dependent on the TV in question, so is more noticable by some people than others.

However, being a PS3 owner, it's also true that you'll understand what tearing is being it's prevalent in Uncharted, Lair, Orange Box, Assassains, Airborne, PES08, etc.

The PS3 has about the same problem, you know, even worse. but I have never see you say anything good about the 360, only bad stuff, and always good stuff about PS3. Oh and I am sure your PC is half as good as Evolution his PC.

Please dont insult me by questioning my knowledge of games or indeed flaws in games. I am not going to explain anything to you about issues that you have only read about that arent even issues at all in the grand scheme of videogames. And dont bore me with your opinion of how I see the 360
either.

Every game has flaws, however they are only flaws if they ruin your playing experience. I repeat what I said earlier. I have yet to see a 360 game that is so fundamentally flawed with issues that it ruins the playing experience.

Now its my turn to get you to go and look for some knowledge, because there are PCs and there are PCs.......

An Intel QX9650 costs currently £650 GBP which in Euros is about €870 more than the cost of your entire PC and thats just the CPU. The Radeon HD 3870X2 cost me £277 GBP which is again €370 so thats €1240 just for a Graphics Card and a CPU I am also waiting for a TEC 437W before I put anything together but thats a whole different story.

I am a PC gamer first, foremost and always.
