MaxConsole member guywithslipons sent us in some pictures of the Rock Band stage kit box which is an 'interactive light and smoke stage show'. This was spotted at his local GameStop in San Francisco and there was no PS3 version in sight.

I guess kids will like this but frankly if adults are actually buying stage lights and fog machines to basically play air guitar my feeling is they really need to move out of their parents basement and get a life.

I'm an adult and all of my adult friends love coming over to play Rock Band (not Rcok Band). We'd love to have some cool stage lighting that actually was in sync with the game. Maybe I'll spend a bit of January's bonus on this and write up a review.

I'd much rather have them offer a mic stand

Rcok band??

seriously, why is only one person allowed to write, who doesn't use English as their first language apparently, on the front page news?? I mean, 100 typos on the main page a day must make some of you kind of other main members of this site eercked

Fixed on the main page .. but clicking link still shows Rcok Band.

Not speaking English natively is understandable. But with the amount of mistakes here that can easily be fixed either with a spellchecker (Firefox has a built in one. Unknown words have a red ___ under unknown words. In this case Rcok is underlined ... and guess what ... right click and the options to fix it are Rock, rock and rook.

This was not a English related error ... this was pressing the keys in the wrong order. Almost like spelling The as teh.

You do know that a mic stand is easy to find at your local music store right?
Unless you really need one with a Rcok Band logo on it.

Buy this and sell the other on ebay for 20$

Although I would not shell out any money for this it could prove to be a fun add-on. Imagine the PC applications.

And as far as going to the music it either has a audio in line or just runs off of ambient sound. Chances are RB has no code in it to actually run the lights. Of course an update can fix that but highly unlikely.

Exactly!
Almost every news item has 'silly' typos that could easily be fixed if the writer just simply read over his posts before putting them up.
It annoyed me to start with as some of the news items are often difficult to understand due to these idiotic errors.
But now i'm used to it and I just think it's a shame that the site is let down by such substandard blogging.

Anyway, bey fro nwo
