I am new to the scene so don't flame me on that ;)
I just bought the supercard and I have a question:
When I want to play backuped games from my own cartridge on my supercard, do I need to patch the clean dump with the supercard utility or NDS patcher?
Thx in advance
If you have some original cartridges that you don't mind losing the saves on to play stuff from SC using the SC patcher is probally better at the moment. Although the patcher supports saving to the SC's SRAM its a slightly fiddly process getting the saves onto SD/CF.

Thx :)
But that will be fixed in the next SD firmware release?

Just another newbie question:
Do a supercard is a good choice to buy if I want to play "backup games" ( ;) ) on my ds? Or is there a better one?
Sure, I need a passme too - I know.
If you want to load from Memory Cards (CF or SD) you can get the SuperCard or M3. If you want to play GBA games perfectly more or less, you might want to invest in the M3 which costs a good bunch more. However the SC is cheaper and for the most part seems to do DS stuff equally to any other hardware at the moment.
