I slipped and now my psp isn't working.

oe day was running right after a light shower had ended but when i went to stop i slipped and landed half way on my psp and now it will turn on but nothing will show up on the screen and as far as i can tell the screen isn't cracked. can you help me in anyway?

hey i dont know if you still exist on here, but i just got the new SLIM psp and i dropped it... im having the same problem, from what i can tell everything is working but the screen is BLANK i can hear everything and i know the screen isnt cracked...did u ever get a solution? pls msg me back or email me at kyzersozay666@yahoo.com thanx

Have you tried taking the faceplate off and making sure the LCD ribbon is still attached to the mobo? Might have slipped out.

hey i pulled apart my psp...and all the ribbons are secure and in place...got any more ideas? if not how much do u think it would cost to fix?

If you still got warranty, try to get a refund or a new psp. Tell them this happened after updating to 3.71.

This is silly, I've dropped my psp, 10 times, 3 of them from a good 1m height, and once stood on mine, and almost snapped it in half trying to catch it (caught it on the edge of the chair and pushed hard on both sides because I was really shocked) and it hasn't broken at all. And you step on your psp and it breaks! Wierd lol. Ok umm, your psp lcd screen might have cracked.
