ok i almost had it working. here is what i did:
used mechassault with evox to gain ftp access, downgraded dashboard to 4920, installed swapless audio hack manually to music folder, copied evox files to E:\ , signed evoxdash.xbe with -audio and renamed it to linux.xbe. powered off. now when i powered back on i performed the button combo and evolution x started. everything looked fine and worked. when i tried to load a burned game it gave me the black screen of death and error 21. any ideas as to what i could do to run my games or what the problem is?

When you've got this version, you're not able to load pbl. So you're not loading a new bios, only evo-x.
The solution is to sign every xbe file of the game you want to load.

ok sounds logical, but i normally use craxtion to create my iso files and it patches all my xbe's automatically. if i sign all the xbe's first and then use craxtion will it undo or overwrite by signing? or do i have to let craxtion patch first and then go back and sign?
