The M3adapter team have released a few new software updates. They have released M3 NDS Media Player and Moonshell modified for the M3 adapter. They also say that their Game manager v2.0 will be released later today which will support "Clean Dump" patch function with highest game compatibility and save-type compatibility.

The m3adapter site now appears down ... either they are updating with the website with the new software or otherwise.....

The adapter is supposed to be released today, hence the release of the game manager software coming today also (Well they say this).

hopefully they don't flake once again. they have a few things in common with nintendo...some good, some bad.

I cleaned my browsers cache and the site has a ton of updates!!!

EDIT: I guess its not a lot of new stuff just the new gamemanager and firmwarepatch in different languages.

From m3adapter news site:

M3 game manager v1.3 (special version) has been released.

NDS features:

1) Support patching “Clean Dump” data

2) All games have “SAVE” function with SMS support.

3) All save types are supported.

4) Support running games larger than 256Mb in size.


Has anyone tested this already?

downloaded the:

(Console software- English version update)

and the readme said:

updategc.x04

1. Can run DoFAT NDS ROM, GST NDS ROM, DEMO NDS ROM, Homebrew NDS ROM.

2. Correct NDS GAME BACKUP function bug.

3. Menu of NDS Movie Player show on touch LCD for future touch function extend.

4. NDS Movie can select play on top LCD or on touch LCD.

A lot of games work... Meteos, Castlevania, Nintendogs
Some don't... Kirby Canvas, Mario 64 DS
I might have bad dumps though and I'm not going to test all of them. =)
Games LOAD if just a few Seconds!

Kirby doesn't work on this? ugh well I'll have to see to believe, I'm suppose to be getting one soon. I think they are still busy ironing out problems with the conversion software. Hopefully everything gets worked out. Right now it looks like the supercard is the best choice for DS gaming.

I think they will iron out a lot of the problems with the M3. This last update fixed a lot; a very good start. =)

Has anyone written a NDS rom compatibility list for the M3 game manager v1.3 yet? And also what is the best place to order a M3 Perfect SD version from? I live in sweden so worldwide shipping is a must.

Feels a bit overpriced though, and they don't have it in stock :/ Thought i saw SD ver + passkey for 88$ somewhere.

True but think about warranty. The store is in Orebro and has been there for some years. If the damn thing broke you allways have 1 year guarantee.

Its better to pay a few bucks more.

Anyway seams like the SD version will come out 27 Sept and im on my way to Stockholm on 28 sept so if its out i will pick one up on my way there..
