Anyway to turn off autobooting with a UMD inserted on bootup?

Nope. You can set your parental settings to the highest setting so no games will boot, but then if you have a umd you want to play you gotta change the settings and ****.

In related new, to prevent games from loading automatically when the system is turned on from a powered off state, goto Security Settings. Leave the password at 0000 and set Parental Control Level to 1. Now when you power on your PSP, you can press X to run the game or O to cancel.

That doesn't seem to work with the demo disk though, so it's pretty useless if that's what you use for the umd emulator
