At the TGS show in Tokyo, Sony revealed 102 games in development (with 72 publishers) for the Playstation 3 however none of them were playable. These games included King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 3 (from SNK Playmore), as well as new versions of Alone in the Dark, Driver, Stuntman, Brothers in Arms, and Gradius. Triple-A titles such as Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, and new Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy games. In related news it looks as if the boomerang sleeky silver controller Sony revealed for the PS3 was only conceptual and not the final version!

Was this conceptual design a clever trick to lure Nintendo into revealing the Revolution controller

i think it's more that nintendo revealing their controller has made sony feel uneasy about the future and feel threatened by nintendo's innovative technology. 102 games in development is an impressive figure though, of course they'll just be prettier versions of current games and ideas. i'll probably buy a ps3 for exclusive software, but revo definitely brings the most excitement to the next generation. there's something seriously wrong if nintendo doesn't reclaim their position on top of the console market.
