The serial tracker give you what is probably in your wii, but like it says, it's not always 100% correct.
For compatability see http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php?title=Wii_Region_Patcher_Compatibility_L ist:_NTSC-J
As far as patching, mod chips do on the fly patching for games of regions other than your system.

First of all you could thank brentbizzle for the information he gave you. It never hurts to be polite. Then you could actually click on the link he gave you... You can play both PAL and NTSC-U games.. but only the ones that the link shows as green... It's quite simple really.

Anybody can help me???? We ordered a Wiifit from HongKong to Hungary, but the disc is in an other region code. so our wii has a modchip to read all the region codes, now it reads the wiifit disc, but immediately after that it all becomes black, and we cannot use it. But the other games are working, only the Wiifit doesn't work. What can be the problem?

I'm guessing you have a PAL system because this game works on NTSC-U... well, taking a look at the handy compatibility list...

Scroll down to NTSC-J to PAL
"0441 Wii Fit: Recognizes disc, locks up on load"
Not going to work for you... sorry.
If you're having game problems, look at the friggin compatibility chart!
