Broken wii - need advice

Hi, I disassembled my wii recently to see which kind of drive chip I had. However, when i put it back together, my wii stopped working.

My wii shows the green light indicating it's on, but i don't hear the opitcal drive rotating and nothing shows up on the screen. It's really weird because sometimes the fan turns on and sometimes it doesn't. Is there any part of the disassembly I could have messed up that could cause such a problem? thanks!

Did you disconnect the ribbon cables?

I disconnected the ribbon cables when I disassembled my wii, but I reattached them afterwards. I've reconnected the ribbon cables several times, but it doesn't seem to make a diffference.

Where are you located at?

check the power cable connection look in the plug see if you have bent a pin as that would do this problem
