Hi Guys.
It seems, that this title is not available for PAL. I am running only PAL games on my WII and works perfectly, with a D2C key. Latest filmware from net.
I would like to try this one, since the only other boxing program is wiisports, which is a piece of crap (good at first sight, but then you realize is that all you need to do is to move the controllers like crazy to win, and no tactics or whatever included).
So, the Championship boxing contains no update according to WIIU and Brikblocker, so theoretically is it safe, or still can hurt my console? Anyone having experience with this title on PAL machine, your feedback greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Quote from another site........
"Works on PAL.
Apply Regionfrii & Brickblocker before burning!
To answer the question:
No, no direct translation of your arms like in Wii Sports.
It is like Tabletennis, a short delay until your move gets executed.
I would not go so far to call this no fun, but i think this kind of
triggered steering of your game-avatar is dated. This was nice when you
got conventional controllers. But with the wiimotes it is just a
shame how incompetent most developpers are today.
A 1:1 translation of your arms would have made this title a hit.
But again: The game is FUN, no question. The gfx is decent in a wii-way
and it looks like you got a good game located in the boxing-circuit,
but the bad taste of "why on earth do you not make sensible use of
the wiimotes?" sticks. In the end they charge an assload of money
for Wii games, so i may demand some quality coding... and they really
got the nerve to wonder why wii games do not sell as much as they
want them to."

Thanks!
I tried the prog, a piece of crap again :( but my wii is ok.
I found this link also: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php?title=Wii_Region_Patcher_Compatibility_L ist#Compatibility
Stuart, I totally agree with you, there is a lots of missed potential in the wiimotes. The developers pumping out ****, instead of good products. I am kind of agry with this console, since there is a huge unused potential.
About this Showtime boxing: even the framerate is bad! This is the most sluggish game on wii I ever saw.
About wiisports: you are right, the controller-hand translation is much better, but where is fails big time is the realism. If you try to use real boxing moves with real power in them, you will loose against someone, who just wiggling the weemotes like crazy, he dont need to execute any real boxing moves. We tested it with my son, both of us practicing boxing with real boxing bags, we sparring a lot. So, if you try to do that in the game, you will loose. If you do the crap controller shaking, you will win. :(
Since I got the wii I tried a buch of games, and I am become more and more angry, since of the missed opportunity to use properly the new control mechanism. Devs sux big time :(
