Are you sure you need a new board? What's happened to it?

Chip install went badly wrong, lifted pads and broken tracks. Also DVD drive is dead probably due to the damage on the board.

Yikes your probably going to be better off just buying a new one. I havent seen boards for sale yet but the laser assembly alone for the wii is running around $60. Add the likely price of the new board at $150 or more at best and your not saving much by trying to fix it.

I'd get someone with better soldering skills to try and jump the lifted pads and traces by jumping them, for a skilled solderer its not that hard. Here is an example..its for the xbox but would give you an idea of whats involved.

Thanks for the reply. I never chipped this Wii so I'm taking no blame I'm just trying to do the repair :)

I just thought it would be easier to replace the board if there was one available, but if they are going to be expensive then the Wii is going to be handed back to its unfortunate owner.

I think the lad was going to buy a new Wii and swap his faulty console over with the new one and get a refund and would have a working Wii. Dodgy but so Is getting his console chipped I suppose.
