View Full Version : xploder360 update problems and maybe resigner Please read?

i bought the Xploder360 cheatsaves thing from argos yesterday so i could transfer saves :) and after installing the software on my pc there was an advertisment box that said :-

cheat saves update available Make downloaded saves work on any profile Click here to download.

and when i did it took me to this website address:-

it is 8.66mb in size.

once i downloaded it and installed it the program wont boot for me as it says:-

Failed reading the Language.xml file, terminating.

and that is it.

Please can someone try this out on there PC see if it works and if so will it be able to fix out saves on here to work with updated consoles.

Ugh... never download the drivers/updates from the software the transfer kit people give you, always look for an alternative before you resort to using that stuff.

i managed to get the software to work but the saves still would not load on the xbox 360, all they did was say you are not allowed to use other peoples saves :(

Hmm... that I think is the purpose of the resigner, the resigner will take the "name off the save" so to speak. It takes the 64 kb that are needed for the save out of the players save and allows anyone to use it, otherwise I think you need the persons profile and to do the SPG (if it would even work for the game).

Glad you got the software to work though :P (even if it is crap ;) )

Also i hex edited a save so that instead of it having someone elses ID it had mine and the gamesave never showed up corrupt it just told me that i could not use the save file as it was someone elses.

This is weird as i took all the data i could see to do with anyone elses computer.

So does that mean there is some other data somewhere in the files that links it to a profile.

Yeah it would be nice if it was as simple has hex editing the saves. Heck I wouldnt need a resigner then lol
