ahhahah that would suck. deff suck. yea i really hope this isnt permantent either, HOPEFULLY its just the resigner getting put on there and they are just checking if all the links still work with it uploaded before opening the website back up. someone should deff. message Liams on here and ask him what their doing.

The hard disk of server has been crashed. So everything's lost, user db, saves. Its 90% sure the end of the site

I heard they were switching to a new server due to the processing power needed to handle the online resigner.

No, server is/was good. Resigner was 48k size max only, so thats even less then a page refresh. What I said above is the only thruth and nothing else.

i would be highly suprised if there wasnt a backup to the server somewere, but if true then thats really bad, especially as the resigner is there

1) I will need some proof that this statement was from the "admins"

2) The saves on the site were mostly corrupted and the working ones were the ones being beta tested and personally uploaded to the site so it wouldn't matter if the corrupted saves were deleted.

3) user data base can easily be redone, all people are losing is post counts on the forums...

4) The only catastrophe that I could see happening is if the resigner didn't have a backup, personally I think Big R isn't dumb enough to not back up his data somewhere.

When it first went down it said that the sites account didn't have funding and they needed to talk to the provider about getting it up again, now the site looks to be paid for again seeing how it doesn't pop up like that anymore so why would it make sense to renew the sites account if you aren't going to use it? Just give them some time, something will be back up.

I was beta tester and tested the new rewritten resigner by Jay Jay, not Roofus. And yes, theres a backup of the resign script. U have no clue do u, corrupted saves can function normal again when resigned. And yes, user db loss is big, cause we just banned all losers who sold our saves on other sites, ebay etc. Registration was closed so we could be a good community again and now all rotten eggs would be able to join again. The admins dont care for achievements and thats what it became all about, so why would they hassle again to build the site again when majority are nothing but frustrated and crying leechers. Over 38k members and only a couple dozen uploaders. These words came from admins, so if u believe me or not, I dont care. I just wanted to make things clear for people who didnt know whats going on.

Well if it is in fact the end of the site. Its a damn shame. I think that if in fact it is the end. Maybe the creator of the resigner should release it and let us as the gamesaving community resign our saves and get saves by our own means. Its funny cause I just went out and bought a transfer kit and memory card lol .

Thank you for the proof, that was all I asked for... not the attitude. I apologize if I sounded unreasonable just I was thinking more in the present than what the site started out with/as. I also apologize for not fully understanding how it all worked... but could you blame me?

Half of the people in this section are new and are acting like chickens with their heads cut off, it doesn't help by saying that they are dead reguardless.

Once again thank you for clarifying everything up and bringing light in this dark situation the gamesaving community has been put through. Just you don't need to be a f%ckng @sshole to people when they are just asking questions/want some sort of evidence/answers.

If this is the case then ill be disapointed, i didnt upload anysaves but i did write the touchstone for Pre spring update 07 saves, a lot of people used that but still doubt well hear anything from the admins, i hope it all goes back up again, as i for one looked on that site pretty much every day since early 06
