I just got my super passme and supercard sd today :)

anyon happen to know the easiest way to just test some nds roms out,

im more interested on the way to copy/patch them then run nds games on the sd card(512 sandisk)

that sums up to about a few hours per day waiting for webpages to load;)

romman sucks, supercard sucks, their server sucks, the ram sucks, the revisions of the sc sucks. matter of fact, it isn't even a card, it's a god damned cart...(ridge) the flash media is the card. he stole the movie player team ideas and created a cheap knock off that barely worked. then m3 was announced with rom support this time and here we go again, romman steals their ideas and implements ds support. i hope sc dies a painful death, although it seems too many rom kids don't do their homework and end up supporting the stupid company instead of buying a quality product. i'd assume supercard owners are aol users too.

How is playing DS roms anyone's idea? No one has the right to such a vague idea. SuperCard by no means sucks. However wether or not it is the best, or good enough of a product for each user is up to them. When you just spout pure hatred no one is going to listen to you. If you just outline the pros and cons of the product calmly, it's far more useful for other people to get an idea about it.

From what I've seen the SuperCard is a decent product, but has several things that could be better. Forinstance the problem with the access speed of the RAM not matching that of a standard MaskRom used in GBA cartridges. This can cause some annoying slowdown issues. The need for patches and the tediousness of saving your game. Also the inability to manually update the imbedded software such as the "NES emulator" that is pocketnes.

But for pros, it uses CF or SD memory cards. More total storage for less money than traditional flash carts. It also supports Nintendo DS games, and you can play the clean rom dumps. It plays alot of GBA games just fine without problems.

So you see it's not a shitty product, it's just not perfect. Personally I'm interested in the M3 mainly because unlike the SuperCard, it claims to be able to run GBA roms without any slowdown problems, and without tedious patching. But the M3 is 90$ + Shipping, where as I could get a SuperCard for about 50$ including shipping. I'm waiting till I can read a reliable and extensive review on the M3 before making a purchase. If anyone can find one I'd appreciate a link.

beam yourself up man. i realize for 4 more days the m3 won't run anything that isn't pre patched. i don't mean to offend anyone who owns a sc, but man, it seems like nobody has done their homework before buying it. i'm open minded, i was open minded about the supercard for months, thinking the slowdown and bugs might be fixed yet were never even acknowledged. i won't STFU because i don't want more people wasting their money on this crap when theres a company out there with a better product and better business practices. it's like buying a 360 when there's the revolution. one controller is made up of buttons, the other puts you in the game.

i do spend a lot of time pointing out negative aspects of things, and it's not going to drive me to kill myself. being depressed and borderline suicidal IS the reason i'm negative. i am positive about things that give me a positive feeling though, it's just sc isn't one of them. m3 is though!! yay m3!! yes yes yes woo hoo! woot!!!....happy now?

Hey good to hear both sides of the fence but i just got the sd card because i had a 512 sd card and 256 sd card laying around from old cameras.does the m3 use sdcards? or compact flash?

There are M3s that use CF, and also M3s that use SD. You just chose what you want when you buy it, just like SuperCard.

You don't need to reinforce your views - they mean jack **** to myself and most others here. And your view could have been better worded. A post of 'it sucks' just isn't enough to go on. At least tell us why you have this view - you don't even have to use big words, we would all fully understand that your mentality requires you use 'baby talk'.
