UMD Plastic Window

Is there anywhere that sells replacement UMD cases ( the bit the disk sits in )

Where on the UMD you have the plastic window that says UMD Universal Media Disk i have a couple that the windows are loose or come out alltogether :-(

I don't think these exist yet, soon they will I'm sure as every man and his dog is manufacturing new psp accessories daily :)

yeah i just noticed thats the reason half my games werent being recognized, because the front window is broken on some edges and it doesnt allow the disc to read...i took the whole umd apart, superglued the front window (making sure to keep it completely level with the front casing) and put everything back together and voila, it worked!...nothing super glue can't fix...lol

ps. if theres only minimal breakage on the edges, you may not need to take the whole UMD apart, simply press on the center (back) of the actual DISK to provide pressure to the front window in order to superglue it to the front casing..

The window had come completey loose and me messing with it popped it out completey. I had superglued it back in but its very messy and not quite flush to the white plastic.

The actually umd case comes apart very easily, just prise it open slightly and it will pop itself open.

yup my umds have broken, window come loose, some edge come loose, iv now baught some umd protection cases to prevent others from getting broken

one game, nfs:rivals, completely broke n useless, had to buy a replacement nfs game from ebay

There is a replacement casing out now sold by Multimedia Recovery. You can get it off of the website here: http://www.multimediarecovery.com
