View Full Version : Xbox Live issues resolved
Major Nelson has posted an update that he has heard from the operations team that they have tracked down the Xbox Live issue and addressed it. Therefore nobody should be experiencing any of yesterday's reported issues.

maybe sony hacked it :) since their blu-ray site got hacked
In a nasty turn of events Friday afternoon, the official Blu-ray Disc Association site was apparently hacked, redirecting visitors to the official HD DVD site.
Beginning at around 4pm ET Friday, and continuing intermittently into the afternoon, visitors to the blu-raydisc.com web site were instead sent to the HD DVD camp's lookandsoundofperfect.com web site.

At press time, no one had claimed responsibility for the apparent hack, and there was no official response from either the BDA or the HD DVD

Probably partly something to do with the bans and my guess is they are also upgrading their servers again because of all the new people getting XBL (after Christmas). Seriously, I wonder what the numbers are for XBL during Christmas break and New Years.
