Hi

can you tell me how to rip umd's to my hardrive, what software do I need and can I burn them to DVD for storage.

There are plenty of umd dumping apps, but the easiest would just be fastloader. Pop the disc in, select dump, then copy the iso back to your pc and do whatever you want with it.

Thats great thanks for your help, but can you now tell me whats the minimum memory stick size I can us to rip umd's :confused:

For the memory sticks, it depends on the size of the game. For most of them, a 1 gb will be enough, but for a few you will need a 2gb.

a dump is a copy of data from a UMD disc to your pc

What you also can do: use UMD dumper, it dumps till your memory card till its full, then you copy the file to your HDD and it continious dumping where it stopped. When the dump is complete it creates a bat files to put the dump's together :). So you can dump even with a 32mb card (will take long time copying parts to your HDD)
