i have done the same sort of thing but not with lego. i bought four 80mm pc fans and run them of a pc power supply the two on the right han side blow coll air in and the two at the back blow the hot air out.it works a treat if i don't have the fans on my console overheats with two red lights in about 10mins, but with the fans on i can play for as long as i want.plus i have just raised the 360 by a couple of inches.....................sudeki300

your heatsinks arent properly alligned then to the mainboard causing a overheat and the thermal paste is probably gone too

Are you all sure this isnt microsofts top project designers putting a few new ideas together for the new xbox console(whatever they call it) ..... i mean at least this is better than the cooling sys ms origanly thought off for the 360 :D

one of my friends have tried to redo the heatsinks and redone the thermal paste but it still seems to overheat.this the best solution for me and it works.so i'm not going to bother opening it up anymore just incase it makes something else stop working..........................sudeki300
