Hi guys,
I've been a long time lurker on this site since the GC was first hacked and have just got round to getting a DS. I'm wondering what the best original game is to use with the supercard or does it not matter? Excuse my noobiness, I bet this questions been covered a million times but I cant seem to find it on the forum for the supercard specifically.
Cheers ;)
Ps. I'm not defo going with the supercard as seen as the other cards are supposedly just around the corner, just trying to weigh it all up

I have a supercard SD and can't complain :-) You might be interested to know that Romman (of Supercard Team) has announced they have now resolved the save issue. We should see new firmware soon.
As for original games, I'd say it doesn't matter - you will need games for the saves - i use SplinterCell Chaos Theory for the 2mb saves, Supermario for the rest that we play. As I said, this should not be an issue soon anyway.

Cool stuff. :D Really hope to see that come out.
I ordered mine over the weekend and hope that it'll arrive soon.

If you need to know what size saves a games needs / has then go to:
Nintendo DS Release List (http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=25931)

Cheers for the help, so by the sound of it all the super card needs now is 512mbit game support and the slowdown issue fixed on certain gba games. Sounds like its coming together nicely.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in. If you go to this site http://www.supercard.cn/eng/bbs/default.asp
It says that they have fixed the >256 problem as well adding the ablity to save the games directly to the sd or cf card so there is no need for a ds game to save to. They have also found a way to run the ds games directly from the card I don't know if this means that you don't need a ds game in the system to play the games or not I guess we will just have to wait and see.

You will need a cart in the DS slot in order to get around the copy protection.

yep, you will need a cart in the passme/ds slot to bypass the initial encryption authentication. Not sure yet if any one will work, but at least with flashme the metroid demo appears to be enough.

Well i'm so tempted to just go for the supercard even though i'm a bit hesitant to whats round the corner, but i'm the impatient type when all is said and done and it looks good from what i've read here and other places. Anything else I need to know before I get my order placed with cheapmod? Cheers for the replies as well everyone ;) .

You have no worries where Cheapmod are concerned - Glen is very good at what he does. Tell him I sent you and he'll probably really look after you that little bit more.... or charge you more LOL
