But you can buy JP UMD video wich have an english soundtrack or buy a UK UMD video wich has the same region code.

If you are talking about umd movies, then you can't because the region code is not stored in the firmware, but rather in another chip (probably an eeprom). If you are talking about games, then the psp is region free for games.

Have already tried it, but doesn't work. I do it like this:
1. Start up UMD Emulator 0.8
2. Set UMD Video Region to Europe
3. Go back to main menu by loading the ISO on my memorystick (don't know an other way)
4. Insert UMD Movie

Then I get the well known region error. What am I doing wrong?

u need to make an iso of the video umd and put it in the iso dir
(u can do that with fastloader v0.7 or umd ripper)
if its a video umd (not an iso)!! u have to wait for humma to fix the problem

I checked spiderman2 param.sfo, unlike what's stated in the box, the UMD is region free.
(Region 32768)

Probably because it's the same UMD for europe than Australia and they don't share the same region.

How do you get the emulator to work? Im all new to this and recently found then downloaded the software onto my laptop, but them Im stuck on how to get it onto my PSP. Can anyone help?:confused:
