Swap Magic 3.6 Plus Help PLS!!!!!

Am going insane!!!!! Today i have received my Swap Magic and i now wish i have never heard of this thing:eek:

No instruction manuel and after about an hour i have now placed all the little plastic bits in all the right places ( hopefully). The disk starts up until i get to the menu where i have to load. When i replace with one of my backup disks all i get out of the machine is that this is not an PS2 game.
The same thing happens with the dvd disk.

I also get a TOC? error.

Pls help before i throw the PS2 out the window

The "not a ps2 disc" usually means that the ps2 has discovered that the disc in the tray is a backup due to unsuccesfull swap.

Im guessing its one of the keys thats placed wrongly.

I got the "not a ps2 disc" error the first time I tried using swap magic and found out I was going through the swap process wrong. You put in the swap magic disc and let it load; don't press any buttons at all. When the main screen is up, you swap in the backup disc and only after that do you press X to load.

That's the mistake I was making, hitting any buttons before swapping the disc.

And the "TOC" error probably means you're trying to play a dual layer backup. Swap magic does not support dual layer games. I think there's some way to make them work, but I haven't really looked.
