I know DVD+R is a more stable format in general when burned then DVD-R.
So i would naturaly choose the + dvd's over - dvd's.
But what format would work best on a PS2??
Are there issues with DVD-R versus DVD+R??
I even loaded a DVD+RW faultless on my PS2 but one game is not the other.
Would i have lesser problems (if they should become apperent) with other DVD formats?

Whatever works for you. As far as I know, DVD-R is recommended for PS2.

Make sure you have a good burner too. Pioneer is a good way to go.

From my experience with my PS2 v9 50001 DVD+R's work alot better and are more reliable then the DVD-R's.

Does anyone else have any extra input on this subject?

I have posted this question on an other forum to.
From what i have read +R is more compatible with slimline's and -R with the bulky one.
Allthough my bulky PS2 reads +RW's, but it seems to put more stress on the laser.
Since i'm gonna buy me a slimline to in the future i'm gonna go for the +R's.:)
