I know there are a few emulators for the PSP (snes, gamegear. etc'...)
But is there a MAME emulator for the PSP!?
that will certainly ROCK!!!

The main problem is that mame was designed to run from a PC, that means that all the game drivers are specific to a PC, basically to have a suceesfull mame on PSP that would mean porting all game drivers to psp, that would take age to me...
The best thing we could have is some specific arcade roms emulator, like for capcom games a few year ago, with emulator for CPS1 then for CPS2.

Does anyone have a guide to the Mame emulators for the PSP as all i can find is a load of stuff in japanese!

I got MaMe up and runnin for my PSP...but the games are unplayable....the graphics and sound are quite jerky.....Is this how it is atm? Anyone got any roms to run properly?
Shame really...cos i think MaMe is the best Emu.....nothing like the exact sights and sounds of my childhood :o :p

what games are you trying, and have you set the psp to 333mhz - i have heard that makes a hell of a difference

Just one atm Elavator Action...i know i will try more roms to see if there is a diff. I set the frame skip to 5 not sure if it makes a difference.
