A team called TikTok n Botch have released a rip of the latest memento firmware. Didn't expect to see that when checking for new firmware for my Drive Doctor.

I hope someone can make this work on other memory cards!!

Bumping this up, an update was posted that seems to have found the areas of the firmware causing the Memor32's ability to read backups/homebrew.

Sorry for a noob question..

but based on http://botch.front.ru/, how far away are we from launching game backups using a regular memory card (without memor32)?

are we talking a couple weeks or a couple of months?

--- and yeah, i know it may be NEVER.. just assuming we take an optimistic view

Unknown, ripping the firmware is just the first hurdle of many. I'd say a few weeks is the best case scenario, could be much longer. I'm not a person who understands this type of thing.

But on that note another update was posted today with more info updated.
