Hi.
I've been meaning to join this forum for a while, as there are many questions I had concerning expanding the potential of my PS2. Recently, I've been intrigued by the Memor32 and how its capabilities can be "expanded." I'm extremely interested in buying a Memor32, but I have been unsuccessful in my search for a US seller or a seller willing to ship to the US.
This website was extremely helpful, but, unfortunately, the only mentioned website, "Mr.ModChip," is currently down. So, are there any alternatives? If not, is "Mr.ModChip" a trustworthy website?
Thank you for any help you can provide!

I didn't know all these stores located in North America were selling it.
I am waiting to see how much Christmas money I have left and how much I spend on Boxing Day to see if I have enough leftover for 1 of these.
Granted PS1 backup support would cause me to spend less on Boxing Day just to make sure I have enough for one

Wow, thanks for all those suggestions! If anything, I wish it was a bit cheaper.

It's a new product so there is no competition, when someone else figures out how to either put the hack on a regular memory card or comes out with a similar product then it will come down in price.

Theoretically, I suppose; With the PS2 on its way out, there's a slim chance of any other company attempting a similar product. I am kind of curious, though, where can I find a full feature list for Memento? The website itself isn't specific on the subject.

Awesome - Could you let me know if it makes it to your house? I'm looking into the Memor32, so I want to know which sites I can trust.

I know for a fact that GamerSection.ca is legit, although they do have their problems.
Expensive (but fast) shipping, if there is a problem with your item then the return could take over a month.

I've just received an email with a tracking number for my memor32, took them two days to ship out... canadapost.ca is telling me the tracking number isn't available yet. I noticed a lot of similarities between consolesource.com & modchipcentral.com (and consolesource.com has some fugly ratings on here (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Console_Source)) (I wouldn't recommend buying anything from consolesource.com, I'm still waiting for a refund on a cancelled order that took 2 weeks and maybe more if I hadn't cancelled)

I received my memor32, haven't tried it out yet, seems like modchipcentral is reliable after all in my case anyway

I have been watching this site for awhile and finally signed up to get more info on the Memor32. I ordered mine from modchipcentral.com . I trust them because I ordered a WiiKey from there and it got to my house in 36 hours (with 2 day shipping). Now I just need to buy a PS2 lol.

According to you guys modchipcentral.com seems reliable, i'll probably order from them next week. Unless another site has it for a cheaper price by then.

Just placed my order form modchipcentral.com yesterday with USA Express ($9.95) as the shipping method. Any guess on how long it would take to reach East Cost USA? Hopefully by Christmas...

if you're lucky, they took 2-3 days to process my orders and then 2 more days for the package to reach me, I'd say by Christmas but it might take longer due to the post system being slowed down by Christmas mail

How will I know whenever they send the package out? Do they send you an e-mail?

For those that have attempted it, what kind of features are in Memento besides support for other regions?

Yeah I originally ordered a solderless modchip from them, after three weeks I cancelled, at least that part was fast!

Do not order from "ConsoleSource.com"!
UPS lost my package Christmas Eve. I have tried to contact them by phone (always busy), Email (no replys), and support ticket (no replys).
Since I am a US buyer and they are Ca. seller. Only seller may report a claim.
Then we go back to the first line.

they have an online chat function on their website, use that to communicate with them, otherwise I wish you good luck (it took 'em two weeks to tell me that something their website was showing as in stock was b/o and it'd take one more week to ship, I cancelled ASAP)
