Asterix PSP Face Plates W.I.P Update

E-Linksoft clear up a few misconceptions about their upcoming PSP faceplates, they say they are just this - Faceplates and nothing more or nothing less! The difference is that they are also making all the buttons to make up a complete PSP front face.

7 Sep 2005 (Wed) Interestingly enough, the market is getting all kinds of misconceptions about how the Asterix faceplates are going to be like. We would like to reiterate that the faceplate is exactly that, a faceplate. The difference is that we are also making all the buttons to make up a complete PSP front face. We will be releasing the prototype pictures on 10 Sep 05 according to our schedule which will give you an idea how the Asterix faceplates will eventually look like. We have decided to give customers a headstart by opening up the slate for PRE-ORDERS. See the column on the right for details.

We are presently in the design phase of getting the installation instructions down in PSP downloadable format. The above picture is a preview of our company magazine in PSP format. This will be released in tandem with the Asterix faceplates.

50 bucks ?!?!?! I haven't yet seen a price but if so that is absolutely crazy, no one will buy them at this price and in 2 months time they will slash down in price to 10-20 dollars - this is my prediction if such a premium is charged in the first place :).

20/25 dollars is the max i would pay for these, its only a bit of plastic, the xbox cases arent even as dear as the prices shown on the site.
