Hi everyone,

I got my memor32 yesterday and have been experimenting with it for a few hours now. I have 1.0a installed and tried to patch guitarhero 3 and ratchet and clank isos. But both stopped working immediately with the message: play halted due to malfunction.
Is there a trick to see if my iso was succesfully patched, before i burn it?
I tried burning with both nero and clonecd at 2x speed.

If you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong, please let me know :)

Did you use a good quality DVD burner and good quality DVD-Rs? Don't use bargin discs like you find at stores like Office Depot, Compusa, etc. Use premium quality discs or a reputable brand like Sony or Fujifilm. If you order online you can probably find some nice Taiyo Yuden discs which I think are the best.

Open the patched iso with IsoBuster and if you see a DVDvideo folder video_ts, audio_ts then the patch is OKE.

your loading the game wrong.

step 1. boot the ps2 with the card in and no games in
step 2. put your back up in
step 3. wait for the the game to spin up
step 4. tap the reset button
step 5. wait...... for the game to boot if it doesnt after 2 min try again

Did you experience any audio problems with some songs on Guitar Hero 3? The Social Distortion song for example sounds really messed up!
