WiiKey update fails

Hi all

I am trying to update my wiikey to 1.9b and 1.9g but when i press reset to run the test it gets to 100% and after about 30 seconds it tells me the test failed to check my connections?

Any ideas?

I have checked with the person who got me the chip and its definately a wiikey. I don't have any problems playing any backups.

I burned the disc on to rydisc at 4x and 6x speed and used the FileChop application as it stated in the readme file.

My Wii is 3.1E and I'm trying to update with the PAL ISO

Loads of us are having this problem. There is only one way to fix it and that involves hooking the chip up to a port programmer and re-flashing the chip.
Im not gonna try that. I have emailed the guy that installed my chip to try and get him to fix it or replace the chip.

I don't know about you guys, but I had the same problem all I did to fix it was redownload The update from Wiikeys site and use filechop on it and but it to a verbatim at 4x. Worked great.

cheers, I'm going to try again tonight. My friend got it working using nero and didn't use filechop either.
