Hi, I live in the U.K. and want to get a Wii with Wiikey and someone's offering me a Jap Wii or NTSC Wii.
Which one is better?

depends what game you want to play badly.. Some naruto game only works on a jap one afaik. Otherwise, get an ntsc one.
Also, if you want to play certain pal gamecube games, you need a pal wii. Games that require a pal wii are those that don't support 60hz.

This is a pretty stupid question but I need it answered, are the cables for the NTSC-J Wii same as the ones my PAL uses? Im sorry but I have no clue about it :o

If your talking about the video out cables they should be the same, if its the power cables then they're different, you might need a converter.
