I have a 1.9g wiikey and my games (including backups) will boot just fine. They all start up and get to the main menu but not much further than that. When I chose a game mode or type, the game makes it to a loading screen. Some get passed this (batalion wars) some dont (mario and sonic at the olympic games). They stay on the loading screen, the disc still spins, but it just freezes. The games that make it past this point freeze up on either a cutscene or another loading screen. Other games like BWii for example freeze after the first mission. I opened up the wii and checked the wiikey and all points look fine. It was just lately and suddenly (I believe) that it started doing this. I dont know what coiuld be wrong with it. I am not too good with hardware but it appears that nothing has come undone on the drive. I attempted to clean the laser but it has made no difference. If anyone has any suggestions to get games going again, it would be appriciated.
BTW, its not bad dumps/media because I have used multiple types of disks at multiple burn speeds and they ALL freeze up at the same place, and it happend with each game.
