Hey
I'm gonna get a modded wii so I know is better to have the same region game and so but some PAL games works in NTSC US system as said in gbatemp list and so.. but I'm asking about the update problem that u can get if u put a game of other region and it updates on ur console. What games does that? if it is all the games, since when is it happening?
THX and sorry for bad lang

look at the compat list @ gbatemp, and always use brickblocker
But you will probably never need it as all games are on ntsc anyway iirc

In the past i have updated from a pal game on my ntsc console, it caused my console to sort of "half brick" it barred my system settings and internet, luckily the next update from a ntsc game fixed it all. So, never update from a game of different region. On my ntsc wii, i have found many pal games working directly, but if any require me to update first, i simply take the game back out and don't go ahead with the update. Best thing is, use wii brickblocker for every pal game that may have an update. I have updated my cosnole through ntsc games, so pal games never ask me to update.
