Well like all i have too a problem with the new 1.9g update, every time that i try to update its write to me "test your conn..." and only when i eject the cd,its works.
well after all this,i search in youtube for "wiikey update" and i saw a movie of someone that update his wii with 1.9b,without eject the cd at all.
so i go to my wii and try that too,and nope i get again the msg about the "test your conn".
so my question is:
where is the problem ? is it my wiikey clone?cuz backups game are work.
tnx for the help :)

You need to burn the update ISO file on a DVD, not cd. Try this way again.

Yep it's yer clone that can't handle the update properly unfortunately.. my official wiikey updates just fine :/ recognized the disc without gcos, ran it perfectly, didn't have to eject to update..

99% of the problems of people I've seen having trouble with the update are caused by the media they use.

Use DVD, not CD, and good ones (verbatim -R burnt at 4x for example...)

You don't have to eject the disk during the update.

If you have a clone and that won't update, it might be due to the fact that it doesn't have the proper firmware to start. Try to first apply an older wiikey firmware then 1.9G. But for sure, clones can't be guaranteed to be updatable with the Wiikey firmwares... You'll have to try...

"Eject to CD" You made a typo or you did NOT read my post...

You use DVD not CD right ?
