Burnt DVD workable?

I have a Wii image that i can burn onto DVD.

Before putting it into my Wii, what precautions do i take?
I heard about burning with brickblocker.

What are the procedures?

NTSC/PAL? Chip? Burning software? People will need a lot more info to help you, there's really no precaution to take (at least for NTSC?). If your Wii doesn't like the disc, it won't boot it.

I don't know my chip, because i had it preinstalled when i bought the Wii.

It's NTSC-J Firmware 2.0J. The game is NTSC-U.

Nero would be the burning software.
