Did I Just Fried My Wiikey?

I was doing the SMG update fix ( I have ntsc wii w/ wiikey[dunno what version the wiikey was tho]) I inserted the disc, test fash was ok, pressed A to reset, the ACTUAL test was next, about half way throu, my son ejected the disk and the letters immediately turned red but the updated continued anyway and said successfuly flashed, reboot SMG.

Well, I resetted the system, and now NO BACK UP game works!!! :( Only originals. So is my system semi-bricked or did i just fried the chip?? Cuz I can play originals just fine. No back up is recognized and the blank icon just keeps spinning. ANY HELP PLS?

It does not sound like you tried the recovery disk available on wiikey's website. Try that then report back.

they released some recovery disc on the last update too try that maybe

EDIT: I did the recovery disk, everythings fine now!!! Thanx guys.

p.s. SMG looks great. Seems to be the next "Mario 64" and then some. But currently busy with COD 4[ps3]
