Need help, just bought a Wii.

Hey Guys.

I just bought a Wii NTSC-J 2.0J

I brought it over to the UK to play.

Thing is, am i able to upgrade it? I have a modchip in it, which i don't know which kind, since it's the sellers in China which installed it for me.

I heard of bricking if i update the Wii firmware.

How do i know which modchip i'm using?

Can anyone explain to me more about Wii hacking?
